Howdy!
I’m Averi Kent, a professional photographer based in Brazoria County, Texas. My journey began in 2019 when I landed a job at my local newspaper, armed with my very first camera, a late graduation gift that changed everything. Since then, my work has appeared on the front pages of The Facts newspaper and in Brazos Monthly magazine, and I’ve earned ribbons in the Brazoria County Wildlife Refuge’s “Migration Celebration” photography contest.
I’m entirely self-taught, driven by curiosity, creativity, and a love for freezing life’s greatest moments in time. Photography isn’t just my career, it’s the way I tell stories, preserve memories, and find beauty in both the big milestones and the quiet, in-between moments.
When I’m not behind the lens, you can usually find me exploring nature trails, chasing golden-hour light, or hanging out with my cat, Snoop Catt, who is convinced he’s my photography assistant.
Whether it’s your wedding day, a family gathering, or a small moment worth remembering, I’m here to capture your story in a way you can treasure for years to come. Let’s create something beautiful together.
